Privacy Policy

หมอมู (Mor Muu)

1. Who We Are (Data Controller)

Mor Muu (หมอมู) ("we", "us") operates this app, currently offered as a free beta. For privacy questions or to exercise your data rights, contact [email protected]. A registered legal entity will be named here once the service moves beyond beta or introduces payments.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address; if you sign in with Google, your Google email and basic profile (name, avatar).
  • Horoscope profile: name/nickname, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, and derived values (zodiac/ราศี, Chinese zodiac).
  • Content you create: chat messages with Mor Muu, saved readings/notes, tarot questions.
  • Usage & technical data: usage events, API usage logs, device/browser info, IP address, cookies/local storage.
  • Plan data: usage tier (free) and status. The service is currently free; we collect no payment data.

Note on sensitivity: birth date, time, place, and content that may reveal beliefs are treated with special care. We collect them only with your consent and use them solely to generate your readings.

You may withdraw consent at any time (see section 7); this will not affect processing already carried out.

4. Who We Share It With

  • Supabase — authentication, database, and hosting of your account, profile, and content.
  • Google (Gemini API) — we send the reading prompt, which includes your horoscope profile (name, birth data, zodiac) and your question, to generate readings. Do not enter information you do not want processed by a third-party AI.
  • Google — if you sign in with Google.
  • Authorities — only where legally required.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International Transfers

Some processors (Supabase, Google) may store or process data outside Thailand. Where this happens we rely on appropriate safeguards or your consent as required by PDPA sections 28–29.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above. On account deletion we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

7. Your Rights Under PDPA

You may: access a copy of your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase it; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; withdraw consent; and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC).

8. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and Row-Level Security on the database. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The service is not intended for children under 18. If a child has provided data without proper consent, contact us to remove it.

10. Cookies / Local Storage

We use essential cookies/local storage for login sessions and to cache your daily reading and streak.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new date and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
